Since I have no idea about plastic surgery (this is my first time), I expected it to be painful as what my friends told me so. But to my surprise, doctor’s hands were so gentle and skillful, the operation was very accurate and fast. It didn’t hurt me at all. I was relax the entire time, doctor talked to me during the operation making me feel I’m not alone in that room. It felt really good knowing someone is taking care of me and making me feel comfortable.

The nurses take me to DRK recovery area, make me rest for some time until I feel better to go back home. They gave me ice packs to put over my cheeks and wrapped a face garment on to help reduce the swelling faster.
The operation was BLOODLESS and the incisions are inside my mouth cavity so there are no scars on my face.

My face is still swollen, it’s normal, the good thing is that I have no bruises and no pain. How I take care of myself:
1. Wear the facial garments tightly 24 hours for 3 days.
2. Put ice packs 15-30mins duration at 30minutes interval for 3 days.
3. Take home medications regularly.
4. No brushing teeth using the toothbrush for 2-3 days, I use antibacterial solution with DRK prescribed to me.
5. No hot and spicy food and drinks.

Everything is back to normal now… No more swelling and I can eat whatever I like to eat. The incision is closed and the wound is now totally healed… The sutures are also absorbed completely…

I see the big change in my cheeks now, I have achieved the look that I was desiring for so long. It feels so great to finally see the different picture of me.
